I have been working out at UP2U for the past 5 months or so, and I have no hesitation in recommending Michelle and UP2U Fitness.  When I first started I was intimidated because of the intensity of the workouts.  I found that Michelle explains and demonstrates each exercise, and constantly monitors clients to ensure proper form and avoid injury.  The classes are difficult, but sustainable for all levels.  She is an excellent trainer and motivator who has shown me a clear path forward and motivated me to levels of personal fitness that I could not have achieved on my own. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone, male or female,  who is serious about health and fitness, whether for reasons of vanity or for improving physical performance and well being.

I joined Up2U fitness for two main reasons...location as it is in town and far more convenient than driving to concord and spending more time driving to a gym than actually using it.  
At the time I had 2 children under 3 and one one the way.   I am getting older and gaining weight.   I was having trouble keeping up with my children at the playground and other physical activities.  It was time to stop making excuses and remember it is now about my children and I want to spend as much time a possible with them.  I am overweight, overworked, and approaching 40.  So I met with Michele to see what they offered and I was surprised to see that she was much more interested in me, my goals, my current lifestyle, an what I wanted to get out of her facility versus just telling me how much it costs and what there is inside.  
There was a personal connection and I instantly knew this was the place to start a new journey of enjoying my family. 
Michelle is motivating, positive and really cares about you and you striving for better health and fitness, it is not a gym, it's a place for knowledge, fitness, nutrition, and building new relationships with people with the same goals and similar situations and make the journey together. 
In less than 6 months I have lost 30 lbs, feel great, have more energy and enjoying my 3 children on a whole new level!

I have been going to Michelle's classes for a year and half now and I absolutely LOVE IT! I go to her classes atleast 3 times a week. I typically go to boot camp, circuit training and total body conditioning. I enjoy Michelle's classes because they are never the same and I never get bored. She is a great motivator and helps each of us achieve our goals, whatever they may be. The goals for me might be different than another person, but she makes it challenging for each person in class. I have been to other workout facilites and have done the same type of workouts and i feel that I get as good of a workout with Michelle for a much more affordable price. I am looking forward to Michelle's new space and her expanding schedule.

About 2 yrs ago, I decided it was time to do something for myself.  I am a single mom of 2 beautiful girls and personally find that one of the best ways to de-stress is through exercise.  There is no better way to do than with a great group of people and being instructed by an amazing fitness instructor.  I found that in Mchelle Tanguay.  I have now been going to Michelle for 2 years off and on.  I have never felt intimidated by the other clients, and everyone is there for the same reason and will cheer you on if you are the last one to get done! LOL!

I love that every time I go to Boot Camp, Total Body Conditioning or kickboxng, the routine is always different.  I never know what to expect, but I know that I am always in for a good sweat. After the first workout that I had with Michelle, I texted her and told her that I felt like my body was tied up in a bow!

I am soooo looking forward to the new location of Up 2 U Fitness!

I have been attending Michelle’s classes for almost 2 years. I love the diversity of classes she provides and her style. She always pushes us to make sure we are working at our full potential. She is very motivating, knowledgeable and always eager to provide any advice.  The endurance and strength I have built up since going to her classes is something I was unable to do by just hitting the gym. Every class is different so we never know what to expect but it’s always a butt kicking work out.  I highly recommend Michelle. I have been going to Michelle's classes since she started teaching 2 1/2 years ago.  I really enjoy the variety of classes that she offers.  My personal favorites are Circuit Training, Boot Camp and total body conditioning. Michelle always offers "new moves" so that we don't get bored!  She is also willing to work with you one on one with any limitations that you might have, and makes adjustments accordingly.  There are a variety of times for classes as well, so it fits my busy schedule.

I have known Michelle for about 4 yrs when we started working out together.  When she decided to start her own training classes with cardio kick-boxing,  the class was fun, refreshing & new.  I love it!  From there, I have watched Michelle grow with new and exciting classes.  She is always upbeat and full of energy,  whether you are there at 8 am for circuit training on a Saturday morning or 5:45 pm for boot camp.  She motivates you! Michelle is the only person who has ever been able to motivate me to commit to regular exercise. Before I started classes with her, I had never had any motivation to workout on my own or even played sports. Now I'm working out three days a week and actually looking forward to it. Michelle pushes me to do things I never thought I could do, without pushing me past my limits, in ways that are always creative and full of energy. Thanks to Michelle and her classes, I'm stronger, have more endurance and energy than I've ever had, and I'm totally committed to fitness.

I am 47 years old, and have always been reasonably fit. I have been training with Michelle for just under a year now. Prior to that, my workout routine consisted only of running. Her various workouts (i.e. Boot Camp, Circuit Training, and Stability Ball have brought a completely different challenge to my workout routine. It’s hard to imagine that when I did my first session in July of 2012 and couldn’t move a muscle the following day, that almost a year later I’d still be doing these intense workouts. I am definitely feeling the fittest I have in years. What is also a boost is my wife works out with me as well. Together, we do 3 sessions a week, and are each other’s support to continue on. But more importantly, is the instruction given by Michelle, and the atmosphere that’s brought to the workout environment. She truly cares about you, and the progress of your workouts

I am 46 and have been working with Michelle for almost a year. After the first bootcamp I was convinced I would not return. However, I made a commitment to attend her classes for a 30 day period. Needless to say after the 30 days I continued to commit myself to her classes participating in bootcamp, circuit training, stability ball core training, and Zumba. No matter what your workout level is you will fit into her routines. Participants vary from athletic to out of shape to the elderly, for men and women. Each class is a different challenge strengthening my core and building up my endurance. She focuses on different groups of muscles for each class and one class is never the same as the previous one; i enjoy this variety she offers as it challenges me to try something new each class. Michelle is an inspiration and pushes you when you need it; she is always willing to stop and give you further instruction on technique if you are having difficulty with a certain exercise. My posture is taller, my muscles more firm, my nightly sleep more restful, and my confidence higher.

In 2006, I began a journey towards a healthier lifestyle – one that has continued for the past seven years. I began attending Michelle’s classes regularly about a year ago and cannot say enough about them. She provides me with motivation and encouragement every time I set foot in her class. She knows what I am capable of, and when I forget myself, she is always there to remind me. I am always challenged. She is always willing to modify exercises if you have an injury or ongoing health issue. Her classes are enjoyable and fun. She incorporates partner exercises, as well, which is a great way to get to work with and encourage the other members of the class. There are a variety of classes that are offered to satisfy the varying interests of her members. Not only am I keeping in shape in a healthy environment, I have made friendships and enjoy going to her classes each week to see all of the familiar faces to whom I have grown accustomed. Joining Michelle’s classes was the best way to continue my journey towards staying in shape!

I have been going to Up2U FITNESS since Oct 2013. I first spoke with the owner Michelle Tanguay about options for exercising. She had me fill out a profile and included with that I was asked to state a goal. At the time I figured all I wanted to do was move better so I put that down along with losing maybe 10-15 lbs in the next year. I opted for the Seniors Discount for “open gym”. Very affordable considering you get such personal attention. I started going three days a week and Michelle suggested various exercises tailored to my physical abilities. I couldn’t believe how hard it was to complete the round of exercise during those first several weeks. I couldn’t even complete 25 “modified” jumping jacks.  Michelle kept encouraging and I found that after a while things were improving. Hey this might actually work! I started to build up some stamina, strength and I felt my outlook turn around. It was getting enjoyable.  After six months I “reupped” my membership and figured it was time I started to do something about the weight part of the goal. You see, before this I hadn’t changed how I was eating or drinking. I have lost 16 lbs and 4 1/2 inches from my waist! All the while Michelle has been shuffling my routine so my workouts don’t get boring.  Summer is here with all the activities that brings. I make time to come to the gym every morning for my 45 minutes of exercise. That means five days a week.  

I have fully embraced the meaning of  “UP2U FITNESS”!
