My name is Michelle Tanguay.  I am the owner and creator of Up 2 U Fitness, LLC.  Fitness is my passion and has been for a long time.  It was not until November of 2011 though, that I allowed myself to follow my dream of helping and guiding others to find their path in the fitness world.  I began instructing kickboxing classes in Penacook 2 nights a week, to growing and instructing 3 to 4 days a week, offering a variety of classes and now I want to spread my enthusiasm even further!  I have realized, after being diagnosed with ovarian Cancer in December of 2012, that life is too short and that sometimes you just have to GO FOR IT and believe it can happen.  I want to continue to motivate others in the community through lifestyle balance, showing the importance of correct biomechanics and to help them realize that they can do anything they put their mind to and how important a healthy lifestyle is.

 

I am NETA certified in Group Fitness and instruct such classes as Metabolic Interval Training, Ultimate Resistance Tubing Class, Absolutely Abs, Pound, Up Your Strength, Fitness Boot Camp, Circuit Training, Core Stability, Kickboxing and more!

Dina has been an avid athlete since she was a child, competing in gymnastics until age 10, and playing softball, basketball, track, and cross country throughout High School and into College. She earned her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from the University of New Hampshire before moving to San Diego and enrolling in Massage School to become a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist. While living in southern California she enjoyed hiking, mountain biking and beach volleyball before returning to New Hampshire where she caught the triathlon bug. Dina established a successful massage business in Concord, where she worked until she sold it to stay home with her daughter. After completing their 1st triathlon in 2007, Dina, her wonderful husband and a good friend formed Capital Multisport Triathlon Club. Her love of sports and fitness motivated her to become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, concentrating in small group boot camp type classes. Her goal is to encourage, motivate and educate people toward a fit, active, balanced, and injury free lifestyle, by incorporating fun and challenging fitness classes for all levels, one to one personal training and massage therapy.

Dina is currently training for her first half ironman distance triathlon in August.
